This demo of a tablet-based interactive Sports Illustrated is pretty impressive. While some believe a digital version of the next-generation magazine or newspaper will need to retain some of the look and feel of the ink-on-paper version, I think the best is yet to come from new publishers who aren’t shackled by the constraints of past product.
That said, if you delivered something like this in a Fast Company, Inc., Paste or Garden & Gun, I’d probably buy it.
