The Crisis of Credit Visualized

The Crisis of Credit Visualized from Jonathan Jarvis on Vimeo.

Jonathan Jarvis, an M.F.A. candidate in the Media Design Program at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena,  has put together yet another excellent example of how complex issues can be more easily explained visually. I’m sure anyone who has tried and failed to fully comprehend written reports on the origins of the current credit crisis will appreciate this fast-paced, easy-to-follow video explanation.

The lesson once again: Communication that engages on more than one level (text, sound, visuals) can be infinitely more accessible and effective. Think about it the next time you sit down to draft that 17-page memo.
